If the files and (or) folders on the disk or folder, listed in your Catalog on the top level, have been changed, you may wish to update this information. Select the disk or folder you want to update. Select the Edit | Update command from the menu. Advanced File Organizer updates the information on the selected disk or folder. Advanced File Organizer uses the serial number to identify the disk. If the serial number of the disk you select for update is not the same as the serial number of the inserted disk, Advanced File Organizer will ask you to select the disk once again.
During the update process, deleted files and folders will be removed from the catalog. New files and folders will appear. If files and sub-folders are located in the folder, which is assigned a category, this category will be set for all new files and sub-folders.
