RSM (Removable Storage Manager) Support

The Removable Storage Manager (RSM) is a uniform interface designed to manage a variety of removable storage devices. Using RSM interface, Advanced File Organizer helps you to catalog and manage all type Media Libraries. At that, if it is necessary, Advanced File Organizer defines the empty drive in the library, inserts the disk in it (if it is possible) and releases the drive when the work with the disk is completed. If Advanced File Organizer cannot perform any operation with the disk, it notifies you about the situation and suggests possible solution.

To switch the RSM support on set the option Use Removable Storage Manager to handle disks in the Program Setting window (to specify program settings use Tools | Options item from the main menu). After that in the Disk Property Window you will see an additional page RSM info. This page consists of two parts: disk and device information.

Disk information includes Library name (which the disk belongs to), Partition name and Type of the disk (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, etc).
Device information includes Drive model, Drive revision, Drive serial number and Device name.
